Software Development Intern Jobs

CableLabs is seeking a software developer intern to support the CableLabs’ Advanced Technology Group innovation activities. The candidate will gain experience on how research and development is conducted in a world class innovation center for the cable industry. The candidate should have experience in software design, coding and debugging . Thinking “outside-the-box” is highly encouraged together with an aptitude in evaluating existing solutions and proposing design alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Create a test suite for software testing/debugging.
• Research and evaluate alternative solutions.
• Design software applications.
• Develop software modules.
• Document software and testing suite.

Required Skills

• Experience programming in C, C++, or Python.
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with wireless or wired networks.
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision.

Required Experience

• Currently pursing undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.
