Key Qualifications

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Spark and Map Reduce
Scala

Description

Multiple positions available in Seattle, WA. Build search offline data pipelines and infrastructure to better support recall, relevance, ranking, real-time indexing, and personalization. Contribute to a large scale system design, query/document processing, index generation, and result set analysis and enhancing the performance and latency of the core search data platform. Design and implement solutions for automated unit and integration tests that catch anomalies and bugs early, guaranteeing the stability of our data sets all while working cross-functionally with other engineering teams. 40 hours/week.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $127,338 - $177,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
