Exact Job Duties to be Performed

Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities

The Software Development Intern will support the ProPay team in executing development functions of Incident Management, code testing practices, and possibly HSM development.. The Intern will specifically be responsible for executing key ProPay development tasks under the direction of senior members of the team This position is available full time (40 hours) during the summer months.

Essential Responsibilities -

Assist the team in triaging, documenting and executing with the Incident Management Team.

With significant direction by ProPay Management, produce reports and conduct software development that outline findings, explain issues, and recommend changes.

Assist the team in trouble shooting, defining issues and in some cases creating best practices for software development.

Duties may include both test case development and development activities relate to HSM development work.

Document and report status of agreed upon activities, remediation plans, owners and commitment dates.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Required Qualifications -

Education:

Students pursuing a degree in software development, engineering or Information Technology.

Job Related:

Experience in critical problem solving, project management or client facing roles.

Functional Area Skills/Knowledge:

Strong communication/influence, facilitation and presentation skills; networking internally and externally

Ability to manage tasks and time commitments to meet project deadlines

Familiarization and experience using the .Net framework

Splunk experience a plus

Ability to work in a team environment

Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills.
