About This Position
The Consumer and Dealer Applications department is responsible for managing and delivering multiple large-scale programs, projects, and products in the area of consumer (B2C), dealer (B2B), field, consumer data, and marketing technology applications. The department supports multiple Honda business units, including Honda Automobile, Acura, Motorcycle, Power Equipment, Marine, Engine, Export Distributor (LAC), Honda Canada, and Honda de Mexico. The department’s responsibilities include implementing and managing the operations of mobile and web client apps, backend platform applications and associated back office systems.
  • Prioritize and track deliverables, manage project timelines, deadlines, and requests
  • The Software Developer I is an entry-level position responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing backend systems within the department. This position will gain end to end knowledge of the ecosystem, helping to support day to day activities, and may rotate through a variety of roles among one or more units of the department, and duties include project/product development and operations production support. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.

Required Work Experience:
Responsible for developing, maintaining and testing assigned applications. This includes getting a complete understanding on the internal and external interfaces to be able to support the day to day operation of the applications. Also gain an in-depth knowledge of the new technology being deployed in the unit.

  • Competitive Base Salary: $65,400 - $98,100
