Game Artist (Hybrid - Chicago, Austin, Reno, And Las Vegas)

Be a part of our Art Team! Our studio makes original video titles for slot machines that utilize all aspects of digital art and animation creation. This is a small, collaborative team that works in a wide variety of themes and visual styles to assist in creating content, including graphic design layouts, logos, animations, typography, concepting, 2D art and animation, and character development.
We are looking for experienced artists in one of our studio locations: Chicago, Austin, Reno, and Las Vegas.

What Will You Be Doing?
Build graphics and designs while collaborating with developers, and mathematicians to create high-quality casino games.
Offer creative solutions to art and game design challenges in the development process.
Evaluate and contribute to the ongoing development of our production pipeline modifying existing assets and designing new ones.
Bring art from the mockup phase to final production while maintaining stylistic consistency.
As a "Hybrid" position, you will be asked to come into the office once per week or as needed for special projects.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:
Degree in Graphic Arts, 2D Animation/Motion Graphics, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in 2D illustration, animation, and graphic design.
Portfolio and/or demo reel showing your range of style and attention to detail.
Knowledge of casino game design or video game creation is a big plus!
Adobe CS - Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator.
Experience with Spine and/or Unity is a big plus!

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000 - $90,000 annually.
