GovFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a full-time permanent Software Developer – 100% Remote position. Our client provides high-end engineering solutions to various government agencies supporting their mission.

Responsibilities

• Participate in feature planning meetings with other developers and stakeholders.
• Write and maintain automated unit tests for both backend and frontend applications using NUnit, Selenium, and xUnit to ensure high code quality.
• Develop full-stack software solutions using C#, .NET Core, .NET 6, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Analyze and estimate the impact of proposed work, providing input during the planning process.
• Create and maintain user-facing web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain backend services code in C# and integrate with various systems, such as OnBase.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving feedback to improve overall code quality and maintainability.
• Write and maintain front-end code using Angular, RxJS, Karma, Jasmine, HTML, JavaScript, and SASS.
• Design and write SQL queries for backend services targeting MSSQL and Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose and fix bugs found by testers.

Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ability to learn new technologies.
• Experience with source control systems like Git, SVN, and Team Foundation Server.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with front-end technologies like Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6.
• Familiarity with SQL and experience working with databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite.

Desired

• Experience with other programming languages, such as PHP, C, C++, and Visual Basic.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure.
• Experience with Windows Forms, WPF, and WCF.
• Knowledge of ECM and FinTech industries
