Social Media Training Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated social media expert to join our stellar Social Media Team at Jewelry Television (JTV) in Knoxville, TN. The Social Media Manager will develop paid social media strategies, helping to drive the business through a variety of online and social channels. The Manager will also help grow JTV’s newest venture through management of effective and efficient paid social campaigns, creative and innovative content plans, and evolving measurement methodologies.

In this role, the Social Manager will oversee:

  • Quality execution of work in all areas on time and within budget.
  • Effective management and execution of social media paid strategy and planning.
  • A consistently superior work product.
  • Development of dashboards and reports across paid social media campaigns; analysis of successes and opportunities.
  • Implementation of engaging, best practice-driven content and creative across social media brand channels, then optimize that content based on ad performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Demonstrate strategic insight to develop short- and long-term tactical plans to support business objectives; implement and manage those plans.
  • Ability to self-manage and collaborate cross-functionally (internally and externally) to complete projects effectively and efficiently while under tight deadlines.
  • Recommend new ad formats to test, opportunities for further optimization of ad spends and formats, etc. in order to increase performance of social media ads and campaigns, in alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills to convey strategic and tactical plans to key audiences.
  • Display understanding of business concepts and objectives in order to identify campaign expansion opportunities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment; ability to manage an agency and team.
  • Create, maintain, and manage paid social media content calendars.
  • Train, provide feedback, and develop training materials to support on-air talent and live selling streamers to increase social selling sales.
  • Research and report on best practices and the latest trends in social media, including platform updates, advertising formats, creative opportunities, technologies, tools, etc. in order to elevate social media efforts, improve campaign performance, and provide recommendations on how to best leverage new and existing tools and services.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and ability to manage budgeting and pacing, campaign creation, optimization, and measurement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with external agencies to develop strategic, creative, and compelling content and campaigns across social media channels and brands that drive meaningful results in alignment with business objectives.
  • Compile social media data to create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and dashboards.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated success in social advertising campaign management and optimization across the largest social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube with Snapchat and TikTok advertising experience a plus.
  • Aptitude for developing social media strategic solutions.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in social media marketing with an emphasis on paid media campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business.
