FAVORITE DAY MEDIA – SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST (IN-OFFICE)

Opportunity:

Favorite Day Media is looking for a Social Media Specialist (PT). You’ll oversee client’s accounts on behalf of the agency. This includes, but is not limited to, managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously, paid social media, community management and analytics. This is a great opportunity to gain entry to a position with big growth potential, support and coach local small businesses and be at the beginning of a new digital content and marketing agency. Due to the size of our growing operation, you’ll be expected to do a lot, and learn a lot on the fly. This isn’t a position for someone who wants to stay in their comfort zone. The ideal candidate can help grow our client base and be a major player within the agency.

What you get to do:

  • Educating and enabling clients on digital marketing best practices and processes
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Work with other departments to collaborate, educate and support our client’s goals
  • Manage paid social media campaigns, including recommendations, planning, executing and reporting
  • Work directly with the founder on day-to-day projects and help build a department within a bigger agency
  • Delivering monthly analytics reports for each client, including insights on performance with a focus on ROI
  • Serve as an expert and manager of digital marketing tools, including making recommendations for the agency and clients
  • Manage day-to-day social media accounts for clients, including but not limited to, creation and implementation of editorial calendars, posting, community management, copywriting, content creation and reporting

What you bring to the role:

  • Ability to make strong recommendations and craft individualized social media strategies for clients
  • 1-3 years (minimum) in digital marketing, social media (required)
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Big bonus for hands on knowledge and execution of Google ads, Paid Media, PPC, SEO or email marketing, and be able to show your work. (Optional)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • An innate desire to be a major part of helping build something from the ground up
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (required)
  • Strong knowledge of social marketing campaign strategies and best practices
  • 1-3 years (minimum) in marketing (required)
  • Experience working with digital brand guidelines
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously for an agency (preferred)

Office life:

This is an in-office role (Phinney Ridge, Seattle, WA). We’re laid back, but expect professionalism and a hard-working mentality. Our office includes an office dog and basic amenities. It will grow as we grow. We occasionally host clients for consultations, meetings, and events.


Compensation:

This is entirely dependent on what you bring to the table. Compensation will depend on experience and the final determination of each candidate’s abilities. There is a significant opportunity to grow (rapidly) with the company.


This is an in-office role. You will be expected to commute to our office in Phinney Ridge, Seattle. Please only local Greater Seattle Metropolitan Area candidates. We will not look at any candidates outside a 10-mile radius of Seattle.
