ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
Digital Marketing and Social Strategy department at Univision Los Angeles is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our team!
Social media has become the most rapidly expanding digital marketing avenue for marketers, providing an unparalleled opportunity to reach and engage with a vast and diverse audience. Los Angeles Local Digital Partner Solutions team leads Univision Digital Branded Solutions across TV, Radio, News and promotions utilizing social as a driver to achieve local marketing goals.
ABOUT YOU:
You should have a deep understanding of social media best practices and be able to leverage these practices to achieve business and client’s goals. You should be able to create engaging content that resonates with Univision’s target audience, and have a keen eye for visual design. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team. You should have passion for social media and digital marketing, with a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the industry.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
  • You will assist in Live Social Media coverage at activations and branded productions and Univision Events.
  • You will develop and execute multiple branded content and social media plans, including scheduling & posting social creatives, managing campaign flights as well as implementing paid social advertising campaigns to drive deliverables and results.
  • You will create engaging social media content in various formats for all Univision Los Angeles social platforms.
  • You will ideate and develop unique and compelling marketing solutions proposals that match creative ideas with strategic media plans for Univision Los Angeles TV & Radio programming, sales and station initiatives.
  • You will report metrics on campaign progress and completion to internal and external stakeholders.
YOU HAVE:
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in digital, social, Branded Content and influencer marketing
  • You must be flexible and willing to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • You are bilingual with excellent writing and communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Ability to develop and present clear and compelling, client-focused marketing solutions and strong presentation skills.
  • BA in Marketing, Communications, or similar relevant field
  • Experience with social media management and paid social advertising platforms with strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to identify trends and insights.
  • A keen eye for visual design to create visually compelling social media creative that engages and effectively communicates brand's message.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices, creative formats, and trends, as well as excellent communication. problem solving and creative skills.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $67,038 + Benefits
