Social Media Manager – Cheektowaga, NY (not remote)

Gordon Companies, Inc. is searching for a talented full-time social media manager for all divisions including, but not limited to its ecommerce brands Christmas Central, Christmas.com, and Pool Central. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for social media as a business tool, understands engagement, has a strong tone, creativity, and can manage time effectively.

Job Duties:

Create and schedule content for all divisions of Gordon Companies and its respective social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Tik Tok.

Strategize with marketing team and photo department to identify opportunities for audience development and ad creation.

Write captions, identify hashtags, and schedules posts.

Find and create opportunities for reels, stylized photos, and graphics.

Stay up to date on emerging social media trends and identify the strongest social media outlets for Gordon Companies divisions.

Advise company on how to best utilize social media according to each division’s unique brand voice.

Required:

Proven experience driving social media engagement, building audiences and success in social media advertising

Experience in content creation for business

Ability to create reels, stylized photos, graphics.

Professional, but warm writing style

Understanding of hashtags and ability to analyze competition and drive sales

Experience with Adobe or Canva a plus

Experience in Hootsuite or similar social media management platform

Team player, but works well independently

Takes initiative and problem solves
