You have the opportunity to help scale a best-in-class accounting services team in a fast-growing start-up with a recent $1 billion valuation. Because you are an outstanding communicator with experience building profitable businesses and an interest in real estate, you'll help to ensure our PLACE sales teams bring the dream of home ownership to thousands of people everywhere.


Who Develops You: Sales Teams Controller


What You're Great At:

Connecting with people, gaining their confidence and cooperation

Counseling non-financial business leaders to understand and act on the profit levers in a business


What You'll Do:

  • Meet with sales team Operators to help them understand their financials and improve the profitability of their teams
  • Help sales team Operators take advantage of the many resources offered by Place
  • Assist in the recruitment, retention and development of a high-quality team of junior accountants
  • Respond to ad-hoc inquiries from sales team Operators and leadership
  • Suggest ways to improve the efficiency of our accounting operations, address internal control weaknesses, and improve the overall Operator experience
  • Review completed financial statements for quality
  • Other tasks, as needed

Skills You Have:

  • 5+ years experience in Controllership
  • Real estate experience preferred
  • MBA, or CPA with experience in public accounting
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Base Pay/Salary
$90,000-$110,000 DOE
