Short Form Film Director

The Film Director will craft the series' visual style and storytelling, while collaborating closely with the producer, creative team, and cast members. Responsibilities:
Creative Development

• Collaborate with the creative team, producer, and music artist to develop a compelling storyline for the TikTok thriller series
• Develop a distinctive visual style and aesthetic that complements the narrative and music artist's brand
• Offer creative guidance and feedback during pre-production, including script development, casting, and location scouting

Direction and Production

• Work closely with the cast, leading rehearsals, and providing clear direction for performances that enhance the story and character arcs
• Collaborate with the cinematographer to create a unified visual approach to the series, including shot compositions, camera movements, and lighting choices
• Supervise the production process, ensuring efficient execution and fostering a collaborative on-set environment

Post-production Collaboration

• Provide input on music, sound design, and visual effects to ensure a cohesive final product that aligns with the creative vision
• Partner with the editor to shape the final cut, refining pacing, story flow, and visual elements of the series
• Ensure content adheres to TikTok guidelines and platform-specific requirements

Requirements:
Technical Skills

• At least 5 years of directing experience, preferably with short-form content or web series
• Familiarity with the entire filmmaking process, from pre-production to post-production stages
• Proficient in visual storytelling and creating narratives suitable for social media platforms
