Short Form Film Producer

We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Producer to help oversee the casting, shooting, and editing of video shorts for a stealth marketing project to launch a new music artist through a TikTok thriller film series. The Producer will collaborate closely with the creative team, manage timelines, and ensure efficient project execution for a developing music artist. If you have strong organizational skills, a keen understanding of various aspects of filmmaking, and experience with TikTok or similar short-format platforms, this unique opportunity may be perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
Pre-production & Casting

• Develop and refine story ideas in collaboration with the creative team and music artist
• Create and manage schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Oversee the casting process, including audition management and talent selection

Production Management

• Address any issues or challenges that may arise during production
• Liaise with various departments such as Cinematography, Sound, and Art Direction
• Supervise the shooting process, ensuring smooth communication and execution on set

Post-production Supervision

• Collaborate with the Film Editor to refine pacing, storytelling, and visual appeal
• Ensure content meets TikTok guidelines and platform-specific requirements
• Oversee the video editing stage to ensure the final product adheres to the creative vision

Requirements:
Technical Skills

• Familiarity with casting, production management, and video editing for social media
• At least 5 years of experience in film or video production, preferably with short-form content
• Strong knowledge of the filmmaking process, from pre-production to post-production stages

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills in order to navigate unexpected production circumstances
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate teams
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, timelines, and challenges with grace and professionalism
