Shipping And Receiving Technician

What will you do at WithMe?

WithMe is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Tech to join its Operations department. In this role, you will handle our incoming packages, transfer PrintWithMe Printers to our staging line, add branding and rebox 70 lb printers, set inventory on shelves and take inventory of all products in our warehouse . This tech will receive and ship printers and coffee products, move shipments with a pallet jack, package and unpack equipment with lifting devices such as a forklift to move products and occasionally deliver products to our client.. You will provide exceptional customer service to our internal colleagues and our external partners, clients, and vendors in this role.

This role reports to the Operations Manager and will be based in our Chicago headquarters.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily receiving, pick & pack, and order processing duties
• Assist, maintain, or manage workflow including: review transactions, support processes for Sales Orders / Purchase Orders, manage stock & supply levels, load trucks, move freight, store merchandise
• Become proficient shipping programs (such as FedEx), and any other necessary IT systems.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on racks as needed
• Assist with removal of dunnage such as cardboard, pallets and trash
• Pull 70 lb printers and place on assembly stations as needed for production
• Work alongside our Sr. Shipping & Receiving Tech to assure quality of our products & shipments

• Hands-on team player willing to take on a range of responsibilities and work proactively and independently on site in Chicago, IL
• Display a strong work ethic
• Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Professional presentation and ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and internal staff
• Assist with daily cycle counts and inventory control in production areas

Essential Job Requirements

• Read work orders, production schedules, or follow oral instructions to determine materials needed.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment and completing work order request to correct issues,
• Responsible for overall shop cleanliness and appearance.
• Pushing 75 lb. objects to arrange in storage
• Must be able to stand, sit, squat, reach on a regular basis
• Responsible for following general safe work practices.
• Responsible for maintaining organized, identified racks, and staging areas
• Ability to lift objects up to 75 lbs. from ground to table
