THE OPPORTUNITY

We are searching for a Service Manager In Training to join our growing operations. The Service Manager in Training will develop knowledge and skills by working alongside experienced Service Managers as several Louisiana Cat locations. This position will learn how to deliver excellent customer service and how to manage all aspects of the Service Department.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Observe experienced staff and gain knowledge about procedures, methods and standards that are required for performing departmental duties
• Learn company policies that affect business
• Work independently on computer and web-based training
• Receive training and perform duties in several departments such as Sales, Service, Operations, Parts or other Corporate Functions
• Gain as much knowledge as they can about the dealership environment so that they may become capable of assuming a future managerial position

THIS POSITION IS BEST SUITED FOR SOMEONE

• With proficient computer skills, namely MS Office Suite
• Who is mature, adaptable, a quick learner and is a positive team player
• Who can manage multiple tasks
• That has good people skills which will enable him/her to effectively gain from the expertise of the various persons working in the organization
• Who can demonstrate a capacity for developing strong business and sales strategy acumen
• Able & willing to travel and/or relocate
• Seeking to gain as much knowledge and practical experience as possible during the training period
• With strong communication and problem solving skills

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS

• REQUIRED: Developed communication skills both verbal and written
• REQUIRED: Proficient computer skills
• REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

JOB FACTS

• The Service Manager in Training will require extensive travel throughout the state of Louisiana.
• SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7-5:30 with some Saturdays required
