Job Description
As a Service Delivery Technician for DeepSeas, a cyber security company, your main responsibility is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of cybersecurity services to our team and clients. You will work closely with the team to install and configure cybersecurity software and hardware solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide technical support and assistance.

In this role, you will also be responsible for conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential threats and weaknesses in client systems. You will work closely with other members of the cybersecurity team to develop and implement comprehensive security solutions for clients, and you will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, as well as excellent technical skills and problem-solving abilities. You should also have strong communication and customer service skills, as you will be working closely with clients to help them secure their systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

As a Service Delivery Technician for DeepSeas, a cyber security company, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of technical help and service needs for the team and our clients. Your job duties may include:
  • Strategy is to be able to fill in for SME on these areas as we onboard new customers. To be successful, understanding the steps, analyzing the procedures for quality/completeness and simplicity will be imperative. Think about the next new employee and whether they could execute based on the training and documentation.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to cybersecurity software and hardware.
  • Learn the provisioning steps for Managed Firewall Services (MACD Changes, connectivity and client on-boarding procedures including portal access, connection to SolarWinds, vendor support access, etc).
  • Analyst will conduct Tier 1 Triage of any incoming tickets to ensure they are handled properly for support within SLA. Resolve if possible, or conduct a timely handoff to an SME.
  • Collaborating with other members of the cybersecurity team to develop and implement comprehensive security solutions for clients.
  • Utilize existing ServiceNow dashboards to support this effort. Review KB's as available and seek to resolve the aging tickets. If awaiting customer input, assist by calling the customer for information required.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
  • Watch ticket quality and remind staff/management of proper handling procedures. Particularly, SLA for response times. Templates to use for those responses. Feed issues/challenges back to management to ensure overall quality of use.
  • Performing routine maintenance and updates on client systems to ensure maximum protection against cyber threats.
  • Providing technical support and assistance to clients to help them better understand and utilize cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Analyst will review the team's ticket queues and either help resolve, or remind the team member of the ticket aging.
  • Initial support is to review and triage different tickets for Technical Support and Services Engineering teams.
  • Analyst will learn and execute configuration, management, on-boarding, decommissioning of MFW services for clients.
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate records of all cybersecurity-related activities and interactions with clients.
  • Communicating with clients to provide updates on the status of their cybersecurity systems and services.
  • Developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures for clients.
  • Installing and configuring cybersecurity software and hardware solutions for clients.
