On Call Part Time Delivery Driver

We are looking for a responsible Part-Time On Call Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Hourly rate start at 20.00 an hour for drivers with no commercial driving experience. Starting hourly rate for those with commercial delivery driving experience is \$22.00. After the training period, the hourly rate increases to \$25.00 an hour.

This position is an on-all part-time position. Each week we ask each on-call driver for the weekly availability.

The following responsibilities are in addition to the rules of conduct and house rules contained in the driver regulations manual of SUN NOODLE. All employees are expected to govern their activities and behavior by the rules of conduct in their relations with the company, fellow employees, supervisors, and customers. The following list of responsibilities is not intended as a complete and exhaustive list, and management has the right to modify or add to the list as appropriate.\ \ Duties Before and During the Work Shift

• Monitoring traffic conditions to avoid delays
• Arriving at the office at least five (5) minutes prior to all meetings
• Obtain customers signatures on receipt of merchandise, collecting Companys invoice copy and any cash/check payments
• Contacting the office for clarification if there is a question about an assignment
• Checking orders to be delivered for the day; calculating products to be packed, palletized and/or delivered
• (HI) Picking up empty Companys plastic trays from customers from previous deliveries
• Packing product merchandise, load into vehicle and check to ensure that sales invoices match merchandise and customer information
• Notifying the office of any product shortages or of any incomplete deliveries
• Supporting the company by performing other workstation duties as needed (i.e., unloading containers, helping Packaging or Warehouse department, etc.)
• Conducting daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles

Duties at the End of the Work Shift \

• Inspect and regularly perform maintenance tasks on the vehicle, such as necessary fluids, oil, tire pressure, lights etc. Report any major maintenance/repairs to the management
• Submitting all sales invoices, cash, money, checks, gas receipt and daily delivery log sheet
• Emptying the assigned vehicle on a daily basis, including delivery container and trash
• Washing assigned vehicle at least once a week and maintaining its cleanliness
• Completing assignment and mileage reports immediately following the end of each workday
• Return assigned hand trucks, tape guns, date label guns and other Company tools in their designated area

High School Diploma or GED preferred

At least 1 year of experience as a delivery driver

Ability to operate forklifts in a variety of weather and traffic conditions

Valid professional drivers license

Good driving record with no traffic violations; clean abstract
