Job Description

SVP Development and Asset Management - Austin

Endeavor has engaged with a privately held, growing real estate development and investment company seeking for a Senior Vice President to join their Austin team focused on acquiring, developing, owning and operating commercial real estate assets throughout the Western United States. The SVP of Development and Asset Management will lead the operations of the Texas region, collaborate with the President of Real Estate to develop the strategic plan for the region and ultimately be responsible for the region’s success. This role will report to the President of Real Estate and directly manage the VP of Asset Management and all other personnel in the region.


Responsibilities:

  • Growth of the Texas portfolio through land acquisition and development of industrial projects.
  • Manage assigned regional office including organization, operations, personnel and performance.
  • Responsible for all acquisitions, dispositions, development, asset management and financing in the region.
  • Responsible for reporting to executives and Board of Directors.
  • Develop and implement regional portfolio strategies to be consistent with company objectives including:
  • The ongoing asset management three office properties in Austin
  • Responsible for various corporate projects unrelated to assigned region.
  • The planning, developing and operations of a complex 65-acre mixed-use project (office, multifamily, retail, entertainment & hospitality).
  • Responsible for portfolio budgets and cash flows.
  • Develop and manage key relationships with third parties.


Requirements:

  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop strong and effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Self-motivated, with a natural curiosity to dig for facts as issues/concerns arise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized with keen attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines.
  • Eager to learn about and gain exposure to numerous verticals within the commercial real estate sector.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • 10+ years of commercial real estate experience.


Education Requirements:

  • Master’s degree preferred, with an emphasis in architecture, development, urban planning, business, finance, economics or accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in construction science, finance or economics.
