Job Description

Seeking a contract Senior Engineer to conduct analysis on system performance, reliability strategy and provide recommendations for a top utility in Juno Beach, FL.

Qualifications:

  • Competent ability with leadership skills
  • Electromagnetic transient modeling
  • Hardware in the loop testing
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering Required, Masters Degree is a plus
  • Six Sigma Certification - Yellow Belt or higher Primary a plus
  • Experience in the following is desired:
  • Power quality analysis
  • 7+ years experience in Transmission/Substation and customer interactions/negotiations
  • Advance ability with analysis and problem solving, communications, integrity & compliance, commercial, and professional skills
  • Production cost modeling for transmission planning
  • Expert ability with process/project management skills
  • PE License preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares communications, presentations and provides support at meetings
  • Provides engineering, design and environmental support
  • Works with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirements and project costs
  • Formulates researches and develops improvement measures
  • Delivers company standards, policies, training, and support of organization
  • Apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments.
  • Tracks and reports on project negotiations and performance
  • Ability to work extended hours
  • Will evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks for conventional projects.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
  • Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
