This job contributes to REI’s success by providing timely, relevant, and technically sound financial analysis and recommendations that will assist effective decision making. The Senior Analyst provides this support to Controllership, senior management, retail, and departments throughout the co-op through performing financial analysis, management reporting, forecasting, and leading special projects. The Senior Analyst is expected to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization, representing the Treasury as a subject matter expert.
  • Strategic and ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Forecast modeling using analytics software, owning and understanding the inputs and outputs
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Perform scenario analysis
  • Will provide back up to other Treasury functions as needed
  • Models and acts in accordance with REI’s guiding values and mission.
  • Develop and produce reporting and analytics to provide management with meaningful insight into underlying drivers impact on forecast
  • Identify and implement enhancements to forecast process
  • Convert indirect forecast inputs (e.g. P&L) into cash flows
  • Establish relationships and work closely with business partners (FP&A, Tax, Merchandise, AP, etc) to collect forecast inputs, actuals, and identify drivers of variances
  • Work closely with Technology to develop and enhance key liquidity reports and metrics
  • Support other projects as needed
  • Support forecasts for lenders (financial statements, inventory levels, borrowing base, etc)
  • Ensure accurate deliverables are completed timely for management and lenders
  • Evaluate, develop, and manage the cash forecasting models, short-, mid-, and long-term
Bring your passion and expertise
  • Project management experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft suite of products including but not limited to Excel, Power BI, Power Automate
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Embraces continuous improvement
  • Strong forecast modeling in multiple software (Excel, ERP, TMS, Alteryx etc)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to establish and follow procedures
  • Has a track record of problem solving through critical thinking and data analysis
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills, critical thinking, and highly developed curiosity to find practical insights in a timely manner
  • Experience interpreting and communicating complex financial data in all mediums to a wide range of stakeholders and management levels
  • Experience with ERP and Treasury Management System, preferably SAP S4 HANA
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and to prioritize
  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Treasury, or Accounting, with focus on modelling and forecasting preferred

The pay for this role is: $83700 - $134000 per year .
