Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Summary
We are adding a new role to the Supply Chain Excellence team to first help with the US S/4 implementation (localization) but also to help improve supply chain processes in general. We will need to follow global process where possible but deviate as needed when US needs are different from the global design. This person will also help with an advanced planning implementation. It is important this person understand the business process as well as how to help document business requirements to communicate to IT and consulting teams. Project management skills as well as process mapping are also required.
Details
Regional Plan to Produce Process Owner
  • Conduct regular process audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in process management to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of process excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Analyze process performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process maps.
  • Oversee and manage the implementation of standardized processes regionally and aligns globally where possible.
  • Provide training and support to regional teams on process-related matters, ensuring understanding and adherence to established processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for process-related queries, issues, and escalations.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, including the identification of automation and digitalization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement process-related policies and guidelines.
Sales and Operations Planning
  • Represent the supply chain excellence team’s needs in various workshops.
  • Recognized as an expert in IBP Process such as Demand, Supply, Inventory, Production planning as well as portfolio management and finite scheduling.
  • Help roll out S&OP and S/4 technology solutions.
  • Help implement and drive new supply chain and analytics process to increase maturity level of the organization.
  • Work cross functionally to transform existing business processes and create new best in class global planning & analytics processes.
Analytics/Metrics
  • Drive data initiatives cross functionally and support the rollout of new tools
  • Utilize and update business intelligence tools, systems, spreadsheets or outputs
  • Working with IT and other stakeholders, develop and deploy analytical tools and custom models to observe, progress, uncover insights in the data and automate analysis
  • Support preprocessing of structured and unstructured data, analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Provide In- depth analyses and insights for strategic and business initiatives
Master Data/ERP (IT)
  • Support definition and implementation of new business processes that will be used within the supply chain
  • Configure and Maintain background process and master data tables in various programs
  • Train new hires and provide support to material master settings and the corresponding effects
Projects / Continuous Improvement/Commutation
  • Lead technical and analytical projects and CI initiatives
  • Continuously works to streamline processes, develop data tools, enhance reporting, and suggest improvements to improve efficiencies
  • Provides presentations and reports supporting business initiatives
  • Support definition and implementation of new business processes
Other
  • Helps define what needs to be done and then deliver results.
  • Operate independently with limited oversight from manager.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Working experience with S&OP advanced planning solution (such as SAP IBP, etc)
  • Deep understanding of MRP/ERP systems (SAP required)
  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel (Power Query, BW/AFO, macros)
  • Experience working for a manufacturing company/within a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerBI & Snowflake (data consolidation, visualization)
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience
  • SAP and/or SAP IBP certification (preferred)
  • CPIM or CSCP certification (preferred)
  • Green Belt or Black Belt in Six Sigma (preferred)
  • Power BI, Snowflake, SQL certification (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred)
