Position Overview


As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will work with business users to understand challenges and build analytical solutions and processes to improve our supply chain functions. You will also extract, restructure, analyze and interpret data, while communicating findings and recommendations to the business and leadership.

District Overview


Kiewit Supply Network group specializes in providing comprehensive procurement services to clients across the construction and engineering industries in multiple markets, including transportation; water/wastewater; power; oil, gas and chemical; building; and mining. Our key objectives are to offer clients a world-class service focused on ensuring equipment, materials and services are consistently estimated and procured at the right price. We strive to offer an appropriate level of quality and ensure materials and services are delivered on schedule and in compliance with the client’s specifications and expectations.


Location


This position will be in our regional Kiewit office in Lone Tree, CO.


Responsibilities


  • Data Collection - You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the core applications we leverage to collect, manipulate, and store data. You will work with stakeholders and key members of our product teams to understand which data we capture today, as well as participate in the development/procurement of future solutions and processes to capture other necessary data we may not be currently collecting.
  • Communication and Presentation - On the front end, you will be expected to guide requirement gathering conversations with stakeholders, asking insightful questions to see the business from their perspective. On the back end of solution development/analysis, you will be expected to explain results of analysis to team members, train stakeholders on how to use decision support tools, and succinctly convey how solutions meet specific business needs.
  • Requirements Gathering and Definition - Solicit requirements by identifying a desired future state that addresses a business problem. Articulate requirements to the lowest level of detail that will provide the biggest impact in advancing business objectives and project success.
  • Best-in-class solutions - Your primary role will be delivering analytical solutions to the business. You will need to bring a strong business acumen and work to understand the business challenges facing your stakeholders and deduce where the greatest opportunity for analytics solutions lies. Use a product management lens for identified problems to give good counsel to business teams on whether to solve by capabilities in existing systems or new prototypes. Develop quick prototypes in an to bridge gaps and create new capabilities.
  • Data Analysis – You will be expected, without specific direction, to leverage data to make strategic recommendations to the business regarding data relationships, gaps, and potential outcomes of your suggestions.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field; Graduate degree in analytics or data science a plus
  • Prior experience in supply chain analytics role
  • Experience with analyzing structured and un-structured datasets
  • 1-3 years’ work experience performing data analysis, procurement process or systems analysis, or materials and commodity analysis in a professional setting
  • Interest in leveraging data to solve unique and challenging business problems
  • Ability to lead others and ensure that both individual and team projects are completed on time and to high quality standards


Technical Skills


  • Database querying (SQL for MS SQL Server highly preferred)
  • SAP ERP experience and ability to navigate table structures a plus
  • Familiarity with work management tools/products such as Power Apps, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, etc.
  • Data visualization experience and technique best practices (Tableau, Power BI, Excel, etc.)
  • Python/R programming experience a plus
  • Data lineage tracing and understanding of ETL processes

Base Compensation: $60,848 - $91,273


(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
