Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to design structural components for a variety of industrial and infrastructure projects .

What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparing requests for geotechnical investigations.
• Preparing technical specifications and scope of work descriptions.
• Preparing, coordinating, and supervising engineering design for assigned projects/tasks.
• Participating in proposal writing, client meetings, and client presentations.
• Preparing engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, estimates, and designs.
• Committing to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking, and improved results.
• Coordinating structural engineering activities with those of other disciplines as necessary .
• Performing complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately to support various industrial and infrastructure projects.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Must have sound overall experience in designing reinforced concrete (cast-in-place and precast construction), structural steel and masonry structures
• Experience working with Autodesk REVIT.
• SE License.
• Must be fully conversant with Uniform Building Code and Standards (UBC), American Concrete Institute (ACI) Codes and Steel Construction Manual of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Texas is strongly preferred.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of related work experience. Professional Engineer registration may be required.

Salary Range: $79,100.00 - $138,400.00
