Location: Los Angeles, California, United States

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineering Project Manager to join our team based in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of structural engineering principles, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead and coordinate projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
• Lead project meetings, communicate progress and updates to clients, and address any issues or concerns.
• Conduct structural analysis, design calculations, and review engineering drawings.
• Monitor and manage project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their project goals and requirements.
• Manage multiple structural engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and ensure that they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster a culture of safety and quality within the project teams.
• Oversee project teams, including engineers and designers, and provide guidance and mentorship.
• Review and approve project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state of California.
• Minimum 5+ Years of experience in structural engineering with a proven track record of managing projects.
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., StaadPro, ETABS) and AutoCAD.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
