Senior Social Content Creator (Tiktok/Ig)

The new Brooklyn-based startup UNSHUT is looking for a Senior Social Content Creator/Strategist to lead our social content creation endeavors (primarily on TikTok and Instagram). You will be the face of our immersive dark SciFi brand and will develop a variety of interesting types of content, including ARG-type elements. Experimentation and new technologies are encouraged, as well as an excitement to join the ground floor of a startup that creates truly disruptive work.

NOTE: Initially this position will be PART-TIME for 8-10 hours each week in exchange for a percentage of ownership in the company (equity) as we solidify our round. Then the position will convert to a salaried full-time role with benefits.

REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to grow social brands and hit audience KPIs
• Timely responses for comments, mentions, etc.
• Well-rounded expertise of primary social channels and their uses/audiences, including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
• Strong background in content creation that advances awareness of brands and increases engagement/connection with the intended audience.
• Innovative thinking about dark sci-fi topics, horror, unexplained mysteries, etc.
• History of developing high-level strategies with content calendars in coordination with marketing teams
• Excellent self-management and strong organizational and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit is a MUST—the right candidate will take our social accounts and own them
