Job Description

Senior Project Manager (Architectural - non-construction)

This role is a hybrid position, with in-office work on Tuesdays to Thursdays and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be either US citizens or hold a Green Card. Sponsorship is not available.
  • Candidates should have prior experience working in the field of architecture, either within an architectural firm or an engineering firm that undertakes architectural projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management software is necessary.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage project scope, profitability, schedule, and budget
  • Coordinate bid evaluations and make recommendations
  • Support project marketing and proposals
  • Negotiate critical issues with stakeholders
  • Ensure document quality and provide coaching and mentoring
  • Independently lead the construction or discipline delivery process
  • Oversee correspondence and ensure document accuracy
  • Travel to construction sites for site visits
  • Participate in performance reviews and committees
  • Collaborate on project evaluation and agreements
  • Develop and monitor project budgets and schedules
  • Develop knowledge of different project types
  • Provide advice on firm standards and seek process improvement
  • Provide team management and supervision
  • Build an industry network through events
  • Coordinate with external partners and act as the client contact

Requirements:

  • Architectural registration
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management software
  • 15+ years of experience in the architecture industry
  • Experience with large-scale complex projects in healthcare, colleges/universities, and corporate workplaces

Compensation:

  • Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year, plus bonus based on experience
  • Retirement: 401K plan
