Job Summary


We are currently seeking a Senior Program Manager position based near Arnold AFB, TN.


The Senior Program Manager will lead accomplishment of aerospace ground test and evaluation and infrastructure sustainment activities at USAF installation, including dispersed geographic locations. Responsible for managing cost and schedule controls for large workforce. Senior Program Manager will provide managerial, and technical, leadership to diverse RDT&E teams with diverse technical skills. This position will report to Battelle’s Chief Scientist for Contract Research.


Responsibilities


  • Lead the sustainment and modernization of complex aerospace ground test facilities and supporting facilities and utilities.
  • Ensure timely, high quality customer deliverables related to cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Engage with customer representatives and aerospace customers to understand and develop their RDT&E acquisition needs and solutions that result in high quality results.


Key Qualifications


  • Competence to function efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
  • Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed RDT&E personnel and teams.
  • Proven record of managing budget and schedule.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen.
  • Eligibility and willingness to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading a large technical workforce.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or related engineering discipline and 12 years of relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications


  • PMP Certification.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Experience in systems and weapons development for the Department of Defense acquisition lifecycle.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or related engineering discipline and 20 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in Aerospace or related engineering discipline with 15 years of relevant experience.
