Job Description

Role: Senior .NET Developers (5 positions)

Length: 6-12+ month, long term extendable contracts

Logistics: 1 day per week Onsite in Orlando, Florida, BUT our client will not say no to a "Rockstar" that would like to work 100% Remotely, so the Hiring Manager is open candidates local to the Orlando area as well as non-local (remote) candidates for these 5 open positions.

Compensation: W2, 1099, and Corp to Corp will all work for these contract positions.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 5-7+ years of experience in Software Development with most of the experience in MSFT technologies including .NET CORE. (.NET framework background in the past migrating into .NET Core and some ASP.NET migrating into react and angular is very nice to have as well).
  2. Demonstrated experience consuming and creating REST API’s and deploying REST-based Microservices.
  3. Experience working in event-driven architecture is highly preferred by the hiring manager but NOT a must.
  4. Experience with agile and DevOps, unit testing, and code reviews. Xunit, N unit, MOQ will be beneficial to this team and Cloud experience is highly preferred but NOT a must.
  5. Front-end technologies "nice to have" – Angularjs or Vuejs or Reactjs or some type of modern JavaScript library.


Project/Business Challenge: This person will work on a team that supports projects that have significant impact in "Guest Experience" and interaction within the park - admissions, things like coming in through the gate and having your ticket to purchasing benefits or entitlements on the kiosks, culinary POS – our client is in the middle of a modernization effort of culinary systems putting in brand new terminals to help bridge the past to where they are today.


In Park Revenue Team supports all revenue generating applications across all parks – they specialize in guest arrivals, operations - ride technology, guest satisfaction, services, and culinary merchant games, all tech being developed for those departments. Aside from capital projects they support sustainment - they support that from a development perspective.


Thes 5 candidates needs to toggle between different things (some sustainment, but more "New

Development" on capital projects).


Without adding developers to the team, they will not be able to complete revenue generating projects on-time.


This team and technology is the root of all code - every other team in the department feeds off of their team and they are the starting point.
