Senior Marketing Compliance Associate - Private Funds

Our elite global Alternative Investment Management client is seeking to recruit a Senior Marketing Compliance Associate with demonstrated private funds marketing review and compliance experience from an alternative investment management firm or law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with operational due diligence and participate in meetings with key stakeholders
• Provide compliance support during the launch and closing of private investment funds process
• Assist with in-house legal counsel to draft fund documents
• Support special projects
• Assist the fundraising operations team with developing RFPs, DDQs and marketing materials in compliance with federal and state securities laws
• Assist in-house and outside counsel with managing Form ADV updates
• Plan and coordinate advisory board meetings
• Assist outside counsel to ensure fund filings are maintained properly
• Collaborate with legal and operations to develop Investment Advisers Act policies and procedures
• Develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures for the marketing and offering of private fund investments, including foreign offerings
• Provide compliance and regulatory support to the firm's investor relations, fundraising and marketing teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of investment management compliance or law firm experience supporting a private funds practice
• Highly motivated, organized and detail oriented
• Broad understanding of investment fund compliance and regulatory requirements
• Fundamental understanding of private equity, hedge fund, and real estate investment private funds
• J.D. preferred but not required
• Advanced project management skills
