Sr. Associate, Private Equity

Job Purpose, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:

Assess private equity investment opportunities in new and existing markets. Conduct financial and valuation analyses. Build financial statement models based on target company’s key performance indicators. Analyze comparable companies and precedent transactions to support the target company’s valuation. Draft internal investment committee memoranda. Provide support to the deal evaluation and execution processes. Assess business strategies and evaluate potential add-on investments. Collaborate with legal, financial, and commercial advisors on process management, structuring, and negotiations. Provide support on managing and monitoring existing portfolio companies and their growth strategies.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include: working for investment bank with a focus on M&A

and restructuring advisory for middle market and upper middle market companies; preparing investment banking transaction materials and deliverables including but not limited to: CIMs, teasers, pitchbooks, and management presentations; building operating models and financial models for investment banking transactions including DCFs, LBOs, comparable company, and precedent transaction; and completing legal documents such as NDAs with attorneys and other counterparties. 5% of domestic and foreign travel required. Telework permitted 2 days per week within commuting distance to worksite.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $160,000 and $180,000. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate’s relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is often a meaningful portion of the compensation package, and a robust benefits package.
