Job Description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


This role provides strategic and operational direction for all talent requirements across all level and positions in the USA. Lead a team to deliver hiring ramp up plans for factory expansion, R&D Graduate hiring, professional and Senior leadership roles. Exceed defined performance targets/service level agreements. Partner with other functions within HR including HR Business Partners, Rewards and People Operations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Talent Acquisition Strategy and Operations:


  • Identify, innovate, and implement recruiting “best practices” to streamline and standardize processes in hiring talents. Develop recruiting metrics that drive optimal talent performance by providing accurate and informative recruitment dashboard on recruiting effectiveness (channel mix, cost of hire, quality of hire, etc.) for the Function or segments
  • Continuously evaluate effective talent acquisition process yielding the best talent pipeline and efficient selection process to match current and future talent needs.
  • Lead one or more talent segment teams depending on team size and manager level. Occasionally fill executive-level positions (Director + roles)
  • In charge of planning, developing, and implementing an effective Talent Acquisition strategy for their respective talent segments. This includes (co) building a strong Employer Brand targeted to critical roles and talents


People and Stakeholder Management


  • Develop relationships with third-party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement as well as agency performance measurement process. Including external vendors for Psychometric assessments or Technical assessments.
  • Assess to upskill internal team members’ capability to be future-ready according to Maxeon’s Leadership Framework and deep talent acquisition expertise
  • Establish strong collaborative partnership with the business leaders as the single point of contact in providing consistent support on strategic talent decisions and feedback resolutions


Talent Insights and Succession Planning


  • Monitor critical market trends in hiring practices and ensure our strategy is in line with the labor market through proactive talent mapping to understand the construct of external talent on role mix, compensation levels
  • Partner with Sourcing team on proactive engagement with the relevant external talent pool to ensure seamless succession planning especially for key leadership roles.


Inclusion & Diversity Recruiting


  • Understand diversity and inclusion goals of the organization and develop a talent acquisition road map to meet those goals. Improve on Diversity Hiring percentage by embedding inclusive hiring practices into Talent Acquisition Team’s day to day activities



QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND


  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the clean energy industry or related fields.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems, and social media platforms for sourcing, candidate engagement, and employer branding.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with universities and colleges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 6+ years of related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
  • Previous experience in talent acquisition in either an in-house role or with an external search firm.
  • Proven experience in university relations, and early careers program development within the US market.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
