Job Description
IDR is looking for a Senior Manager to oversee a team who is responsible for operational functions related to billing, collections, and customer engagement. To be a successful in this role, you should be analytical and possess great people management skills. You will also need to have an operational backbone with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Senior Manager, Operations Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with other back-office team members to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values.
  • Stays up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology.
  • Plays a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
  • Oversees operational systems, processes, and people specific to all collections, onboarding, billing, and invoicing functions.
  • Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
  • Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, and external vendors.
  • Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
  • Oversees staff members and ensuring the accurate and timely invoicing of customers.
  • Completes reasonability testing and information validation prior to circulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Manages day to day business of the operations department while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as vendors, billing, collections, and account management.
  • Works closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance to regulatory-based best practices.
  • Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and providing strategic solutions.
  • Works with internal teams to help set and meet daily and quarterly goals.
Skills Required For The Senior Manager, Operations
  • 3+ years in a related field; Collections, Operations, or Billing preferred
  • Previous experience developing and implementing operational procedures and policies across multiple departments: Billing, Collections, Account Management, Etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities
  • Experience with accounting/billing automated software technologies
  • Comfortable analyzing training needs/requirements
  • Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues
  • Comfortable addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings
  • 2+ years of people management related to Operations
  • Knowledge of MS suite and Excel usage required
