The Amazon Community Operations team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to support the team’s vision working within its Community Issue Resolution and Prevention team. This role will report into a Senior Manager responsible for deep diving, developing, and executing a program strategy to embed community best practices in Amazon Operations Worldwide.


In this role, you will use community issue, operations and sentiment data to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities that support Amazon in being a good neighbor where we operate. You will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including Operations, to close gaps in existing processes and think bigger about new solutions on behalf of the community. You are able to scope and create project plans, develop standard processes and protocols, drive execution, and communicate to senior leaders on status, risks, and process changes.


This role is highly visible within Amazon and provides opportunity to influence thinking across multiple teams and businesses.


This role can be based in any of Amazon’s HQ offices WW.


A day in the life


  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, creating and managing the roadmap for process improvement opportunities, and raising risks as necessary.
  • Lead and support network launches of community-impacting process improvement opportunities with Operations.
  • Build strong relationships and drive strategic alignment across organizations including Middle Mile and Last Mile Operations, Driver Programs, and other internal partners.
  • Contribute to the overall global strategy and vision for community issue prevention on Community Operations.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for collaborative solutions using data to prevent, mitigate and resolve community-impacting operational issues worldwide,


Basic Qualifications


  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience


Preferred Qualifications


  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience with Operations or supporting Operations teams
