Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Able to understand and implement cross system understanding and how interactions occur in the reporting space.
  • Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
  • Consultation with businesses relating to Learning Content for best outcomes. Partner with business to develop content and collateral strategies that support the complete content lifecycle in EdCast and SumTotal.
  • Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • Understands how content structure impacts user experience and knowledge retention.
  • Engages with Business stakeholders (not just learning) to align learning system and content to business outcomes (KPIs).
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
  • Content design capabilities utilizing current trends in software and system needs.
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and Company. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.
  • Partners with businesses to determine and prioritize how to strategically use the learning tools.
  • Partners with other member of GLS and Digital to ensure consistency of support, system application, and process adherence, aligns with global learning ecosystem strategy.
  • Identify system and content defects and apply Lean practices.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures with ability to make in perimeter decisions. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters. Ability to conduct complete Root Cause Analysis.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy.
  • Help businesses define scope and requirements within system Capabilities and technical requirements.
  • Complete content analysis, inventories, and audits to ensure alignment with global content practices and standards.
  • Utilize knowledge of authoring tools to partner with business for best outcomes.
  • Individuals who oversee aspects of coordination, logistics and support for learning content. Responsibilities may include calendar management, budget management, POs, facility management, vendor management, etc.
  • Conducts regular SWOT, and/or strategic workouts to update business roadmaps measured in both GLS and business outcome and improvement.
  • Responsible for content project scopes and timelines, working closely with the team Project Manager.
  • May include individuals who may act as Project Manager over aspects of Learning content.
  • Update metadata and taxonomies to support content classification, findability, and search in the CCMS and delivery platforms.
  • Has ability to work within timelines, budget and can have difficult conversations when in best interest of business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • This role requires Minimum 8+ years of experience with advanced experience in the Human Resources & Learning Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma with relevant experience in Information Technology, Adult Learning, Learning Design, Human Resources, Business, or related field).
