Senior Internal Auditor (Non-Sox Role)

Three Point Search has partnered with a DFW client for a Senior Internal Auditor. Our client offers fantastic benefits and a progressive, consulting-oriented internal audit function (with no SOX work) in a primarily remote environment.

Background Requirements:

• Experience communicating issues and recommendations
• Minimum of one professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA, CISA, CFA, etc.)
• Public accounting in a Big 4 or Tier 2 firm preferred (in assurance or advisory practice)
• Experience in risk assessment, and internal control concepts and practice
• 3-4 years with a complex and respected organization
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• MBA, Master’s Accounting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards)
• SAP and / or Hyperion strongly preferred
• Knowledge and experience in external financial reporting regulations, standards, and practices.
• Knowledge of process excellence concepts/practices - what makes a process efficient and effective.
• Bachelor’s accounting, business administration, finance, information systems, engineering, manufacturing, or related fields
• Strong Excel
• Knowledge of a broad range of business processes in a complex company (e.g., Inventory, Fixed Assets, Credit, Receivables, Procurement, Payables, Sales, Hedging, Payroll, HR, etc.).
• Bilingual, especially with Spanish, French, German, Italian, or Dutch, would be highly desirable.
