Part-Time Internal Auditor Jobs

Reports To: Manager of Internal Audit
Workplace Setting: Hybrid (2-3 days a week On-Site)

The purpose of this job is to support members of the Internal Audit team in completion test work and other projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate verbally and in writing to various levels of internal and external personnel, as deemed appropriate, with a high degree of professionalism.
• Assist with departmental administrative reporting as required.
• Provide status of assigned projects to ensure completion within scheduled timeframes, timely reporting delays or issues to internal audit management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist in gathering, organizing and analyzing data, drawing conclusions and documenting procedures performed and observations.
• Utilize educational background, organizational skills and communication skills in helping execute Internal Audit projects within the financial, operational and/or Information Systems area.

• Must have strong interpersonal abilities, ability to get along with diverse personalities, be tactful, mature and flexible. Must have good audible, written and verbal communication skills, a high degree of personal integrity, discretion, attention to detail and strong investigative skills.
• Must be able to display initiative and accept responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Studying towards a bachelor's or master’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, Information Systems, or related field of study.
• Ability to proactively identify problems and propose effective solutions.
• Must be highly organized with an ability to stay in the detail.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is a must.
• Ability to follow directions and to raise their hand if assistance is needed.
