Responsibilities
- Assist with and administer employee engagement surveys and provide feedback to the Executive Team.
- Primary for payroll processing, to include timesheet auditing, tracking PTO, and benefit changes
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
- Provide administrative support for Advisory Board meetings, take minutes and track action items
- Help with company-wide communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook as well as the development of policies and procedures
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews
- Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to new or existing team members and managers
- Assist with the recruitment process for all open positions, to include job postings, phone interviews and scheduling.Tracks status of candidates and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruitment process
- Develop and track company training programs and update existing programs as needed
- Take the lead on planning company social events
Requirements
- Prior experience working with confidential information required
- HR Certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to edit work and can vary writing style.Ability to present numerical data effectively
- Familiarity and experience with social media recruiting
- Outstanding customer service skills and mindset – friendly, courteous, responsive, and willing to go the extra mile
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint, in particular)
- Problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and a resourceful mindset
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
