The Senior Grant Writer

Will be responsible for leading and managing the grant writing process, researching and identifying potential grant opportunities, developing grant proposals, and submitting them to appropriate funding sources.

Responsibilities:

• Researching and identifying grant opportunities that align with EverCharge's mission and objectives of making charging available and accessible to all.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop grant proposals that clearly articulate EverCharge's goals, strategies, and outcomes.
• Staying up-to-date on new funding opportunities and changes in funding priorities.
• Leading and managing the grant writing process, ensuring that all grant proposals meet the highest standards of quality and are submitted on time
• Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of the EV charging industry, government regulations, and funding trends.
• Communicating with funders to ensure timely and accurate reporting on grant activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in grant writing or a related field
• Strong research and writing skills, with an ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated success in securing significant grants from government agencies, private foundations, and other sources
• Knowledge of the EV charging industry and sustainable transportation preferred
• Familiarity with government grant programs and private foundations
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders

Job Title and Compensation:

• Actual salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.
• Our open positions are based on job competencies that are specific to each role. If you are offered a position, the job title may be different from what is advertised to align with the role's competencies and your specific background, experience, and interview results.
• The base salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $160,000, based on full-time employment.
