Summary

This is a full-time position that performs a wide variety of finance, accounting, and administrative tasks. The company owns and manages hospitality, event, multi-family,commercial real estate and construction businesses.

Essential Functions

• Complete the Month-End and Year-End close process.
• Perform various financial analyses for prospective investment opportunities and assets currently within the firm’s portfolio, including creating complex and dynamic pro forma models and sensitivity analyses for project cash flows and investment returns.
• Assists on special projects as assigned.
• Provide assistance in business plan execution, including leasing and asset repositioning analyses, capital projects, budgets, tenant relations, and marketing.
• Ensure all financial entries for accuracy and manage the productivity of day-to-day activities A/R, A/P, GL Revenue Recognition, Payroll, and Bank Reconciliations.
• New employee onboarding and orientation.
• Work with CPA for the timely and accurate filing of annual tax returns and synchronizing books with tax filings. 1099 filings.
• Ensure proper controls are in place to verify the accuracy of vendor payments, including identifying and applying discounts and credits.
• Financial presentation and reporting to ownership and investors.
• Oversee accounting responsibilities.
• Apply for, file, and manage appropriate state and local licenses and permits.
• Strong analytical and data-gathering skills.
• Oversee financial management of operations, which includes developing financial policies, procedures and implementing appropriate internal controls while adhering to GAAP.
