Job Summary:
Trane Technologies in Trenton, New Jersey is hiring an on-site Senior Financial Analyst for its plant finance team. Responsibilities include managing long range planning and project analysis, capital spend tracking, conversion spend forecast and analysis, productivity calculation and reporting, forecast coordination, and compliance adherence.
The Trenton, NJ manufacturing facility is part of the Residential HVAC & Supply strategic business unit.
- Assist in the development and presentation of recurring and ad-hoc financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and reports to enhance business decisions and drive operational efficiency
- Support the annual budget/standard cost process, strategic review process, and monthly/quarterly forecasting process
- Develop, maintain, and review metrics and tracking systems for facility overhead and major cost drivers
- Monitor accounts payable and goods received not invoiced
- Supports new product development, productivity initiatives and benefits tracking
- Assist with the financial month-end close process to ensure accurate P&L and balance sheet reporting
- Monthly and quarterly closings as per US GAAP
- Review and validate reported productivity to ensure accuracy and connectivity with financial results
- Drive accounting standard work and operational excellence methodologies. Coordinate system improvements / automation to better standardize processes
- Monitor and report financial performance, analyze and interpret operating results, investigate variances and unusual items
- Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational area managers to explain financial reports and their financial responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree accounting, finance or closely related field required with 4+ years’ experience working in a finance-related field.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office products, Oracle or equivalent ERP/manufacturing application, OneStream, Tableau and Alteryx experience a plus
- 5% Travel Required

Base Pay Range: $81,000-167,000
