Description
The Senior Finance Professional will support the Florida Medicaid and LT care market. This is an opportunity to work for a Fortune 40 company with over 800,000 Medicaid members in the state of Florida.
Responsibilities
The Senior Finance Professional collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information and medical economics trends so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions. Evaluates industry, medical drivers, financial, and market utilization trends to guide internal stakeholders and contracted provider groups to help with strategic initiatives that improve health outcomes. Provides value-based reporting and analytics targeted at incentivizing performance improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Excel and SQL, with the ability to create queries for data mining and reporting purposes
  • 3+ years experience in data analytics
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related field
  • Strong analytic skills with attention to details
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous health insurance industry experience, preferably Medicaid/Medicare
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience with SAS, Power BI, Tableau
  • Experience in medical data analytics
Additional Information
This role will be fully remote in FL, within Eastern time zone, WAH KY or IN (within the Kentuckiana perimeter).

Work-At-Home Requirements
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Interview Format
