Job Summary
The Sales Strategy Senior Director serves as an essential link between company strategy, functional sales strategy, and sales delivery. This person will work on both the program design side to guide the organization’s strategic direction as well as on the execution side, managing output and long-term goals. The Sales Strategy Senior Director will develop and lead a culture of continuous improvement within the Sales organization by identifying, solutioning and leading improvement opportunities that align with Paycor’s strategic priorities. He or she will leverage cross-functional resources such as Implementation, Service, Marketing, Sales Operations and Product to drive results. The Sales Strategy Senior Director drives adherence to high quality program management standards across their teams and ensures the constant flow of meaningful program and roadmap communication to team members, business stakeholders, and leadership. He or she is expected to be a role model of leadership, transparency, and program management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Confident in their ability to drive significant and memorable sales events.
  • Responsible for representing the voice of sales in all Revenue Operations initiatives.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance, ensuring the teams’ efforts are aligned to meet the value delivery goals and objectives aligned with Paycor strategy.
  • Motivated to have a greater impact on the sales organization
  • Support the resolution of issues, conflicts or risks across the teams to remove any roadblocks; creating action plans and options as necessary, acting as the communication liaison between team members, peers or leadership
  • Partner with team members and peers to tell the story behind metrics, ensuring teams use them for continuous improvement
  • Serves as the project leader to identify opportunities, present ideas, and make recommendations based upon analysis to further the Sales organization’s short-term goals and long-range plan.
  • Partners with key business stakeholders to define, organize, and lead revenue-driving growth initiatives, sales process improvement, and sales enablement improvements
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Program Management Experience preferred
  • Aptitude for technical procedures and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to be a Change Agent who will champion new ideas and challenge conventional approaches
  • Ability to travel on occasion
  • Deep experience in solving complex problems
  • 10+ years of business experience in a dynamic, fast paced and ever evolving environment
  • 4-year business degree
  • Exceptional communication ability with various audiences, including team members, peers, and leadership
  • Experience with direct partnership with sales or working in sales

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $149,610-$255,418. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
