Job Description

Senior Director, Program Management

Q32 BIO is an exciting clinical stage biotechnology company that has developed an integrated portfolio of therapies to modulate the innate and adaptive immune responses. Our team’s mission is to bring safer, more efficacious therapeutics to patients suffering from a wide range of devastating autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, starting with those rooted in the complement system and interleukin-7 (IL-7) signaling pathways. In pursuit of our bold vision, Q32 Bio has assembled leaders in the field of immunology uniquely positioned to develop novel biologics based on the body’s innate and adaptive immune systems. Our lead molecules include therapeutic fusion proteins that deliver negative regulators of complement activation directly to disease-affected tissues and a monoclonal antibody antagonist of the interleukin-7 receptor (IL-7R).

As we advance our novel therapeutics to treat autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, our dynamic, industry-experienced team continues to grow and we have a current need in support of our multiple Phase 1 and Phase 2 programs as we progress through clinical development. We are looking for a Senior Director, Program Management that will lead our programs through all stages of candidate selection, clinical development and preparation for eventual commercialization. This core and integral team member will lead our Program Team, and providing ongoing guidance to sub-teams, to ensure strategies are successfully developed and executed, leading to optimized asset positioning, timelines and budgets.

  • Facilitates overall program communications, and represents the program to Senior Leadership Team and key sub-team meetings. Is expected to exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action and escalation of issues

Proactively works with the Program Team and Functional leads to ensure timely action to address any deviation (or potential risk) that could affect meeting defined program objectives. Ensures contingency plans across the development plan and timely action against development issues. Regularly assesses challenge points and opportunities for acceleration
  • Provides important operational deliverables, e.g., Program Team agendas & meeting minutes, Program Timelines, Program budget summaries (in close coordination with Finance), Program Goals tracking, and risk mitigation planning
  • Partners with Finance to build and maintain an integrated program budget (inclusive of external expenses and internal resource requirements) based on the development assumptions and timeline. Ensures guidance is given to enable Program Team and Functional Leads to estimate and monitor resource requirements (external expenses, FTEs, etc.) for the program to meet its deliverables. Supports the tracking of actuals to budget and communication of deviations to budget or prospectively identified proposed variations
