Senior Director / Director Of Program Management

Immunitas is seeking a highly motivated and experiencedSenior Director/Director, Program Management. This individual will have responsibility for the cross-functional planning and execution of Immunitas programs, including guiding the team through strategic decision making, and managing timelines, cost, quality, and risk assessment and mitigation. The Program Manager provides an independent voice to shape the overall program and project strategy and drives optimal decisions for the broader portfolio value.

The ideal candidate will bring high attention to detail, a collaborative positive work style, and experience in antibody drug development. He/she will have seen a variety of program challenges in their career and has guided cross-functional teams to adapt and resolve them. The Program Manager will facilitate creative thinking in the team while also being thoughtful and proactive about risk mitigation. He/she will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead all aspects of internal project meetings, including agenda drafting and documentation of key discussion points, decisions, and action items
• Facilitate decision-making, collaboration, and problem-solving with people at all levels of the organization to accomplish shared program goals
• Provide project coordination and communication in support of cross-functional team(s)
• Identify critical path, at-risk activities, and inter-dependencies. Anticipate bottlenecks, clear barriers to progress program level scenario planning & risk management
• As needed, support oversight of contracts and outsourced activities with vendors and business partners
• Champion best practices in Program Management, including the use of agendas, minutes, maintain document repository, establish, and implement templates, tools, and processes to drive efficiency, alignment, communication, and effective planning
• Develop and lead the execution of integrated cross-functional project plans ensuring milestones, timelines, and budget are coherent and consistent with company’s goals
• Communicate program information and support development of program presentations to senior leadership, functional heads, and other key stakeholders as appropriate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience. Advanced degree welcome.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the early development space.

·Oncology drug development experience preferred.

• Demonstrated competency in program management, including solid understanding of drug development pathway, ability to contribute to strategic discussions and strong prioritization skills.
• Experience with commonly used project management tools including but not limited to Microsoft project.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to successfully influence individuals in a matrix environment
• Ability to lead the development of critical path analyses and scenario planning.
• Managerial experience preferred.
• Excellent project management skills – drives execution while balancing speed, quality, and cost.
• Strong communication skills and ability to integrate and succinctly summarize the various parts of a project and effectively tailor messages to audience including senior leadership.
