Senior Director, Indirect Procurement

3 days on Site, 2 Days WFH

Are you looking for new opportunity with a medical device company? My client is looking for someone to head up their procurement team focusing in on the indirect side. As the Senior Director of Procurement, you must have strong negotiation skills, the ability to mentor team members and be able to work with senior stakeholders. This position reports into the CPO.

Some Responsibilities Include:

• Support compliance & governance with all Strategic Sourcing & Procurement policies and procedures across the relevant sites.
• Develop and lead the procurement process including the timely review of PO’s for completeness, accuracy and appropriate approvals, designated vendor sources, and other procurement related activities as required.
• Lead and support the business stakeholders through the purchasing process.
• Support annual budget & projection processes for relevant site operations - working closely with category leaders, site procurement teams and GP finance with “right first time” expectations
• Leads cross-functional teams using spend data analytics, market research, benchmarks, and cost modeling to identify and leverage high value opportunities that deliver innovative and sustainable value, operational efficiencies and risk mitigation to the business
• Understand direct material spend across the business, analyze category markets and translate into actionable strategies and forward-looking analysis.

Some Qualifications Needed:

• MBA Preferred
• B.S./B.A. is required preferably in Supply Chain Management or Business
• Excellent communication skills: Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communicates clearly, effectively, and timely and is able to consistently choose the appropriate level, frequency, and method of communication.
• 5+ years of people management skills
• Experience in Domestic and Global Procurement
• Minimum of 10 years of indirect procurement experience
