The Visa Global Loyalty & Benefits team is at the cutting edge of delivering solutions that drive relevancy and customer engagement. Whether for an issuer, merchant, or fintech, the team is looking to create innovative solutions that resonate not only with clients but also the end consumer.


We are looking for a Senior Director to lead the Global Loyalty, Benefits and Content Strategy capability and drive Visa’s research into best in class benefits and content approaches as well delivery on operational support for global content partners. This individual will have opportunities to work on high profile deliverables with exposure to teams and leaders of all levels across the organization. You will work closely with the regional teams to define and develop Visa’s global view of card product, content, benefit, loyalty and engagement strategy. You should possess experience in leading and delivering loyalty and benefit propositions, partner operations, pricing logic, and a drive to ideate. We are looking for a pro-active leader, who can develop and deliver consolidated insights to regions and help develop regional and market strategies and approaches.


This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:


12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:


15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience


  • Develop clear and concise executive level communications. Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff and management in a clear, concise and impactful way
  • Be an expert in analysis but also be able to think strategically and see the big picture
  • Partner with other members of the Global and Regional Loyalty and Benefits teams to cultivate net new and unique insights from a combination of expertise in product area, internal feedback, external feedback and market research to provide perspective to the team and leaders to inform insights and decisions
  • Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff and management in a clear, concise and impactful way, support senior leaders on development of materials for executive readouts and business reviews
  • Develop models to measure and track objectives and key results
  • Develop and drive a global strategy for the deployment of benefits and content
  • Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and drive results with cross-functional teams, ensuring that timelines are adhered to and any risks to the project are called out early
  • Manage the day-to-day project and team activities to meet project goals and timelines
  • Lead projects related to card product and loyalty & benefits strategy and global content partner management.
  • Ability to collect and transform information into useful and interesting content for customers and employees, which can convey ideas relevant to the industry
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional and regional management teams. Act as trusted partner and advisor to senior stakeholders during and beyond strategic engagement
  • Lead Global Benefits and Content Strategy capability with direct reports covering strategic research, regional engagement, and content partner operations.
  • Provide continuous coaching, training and insights to global and regional loyalty and benefits teams
  • Work closely with all regions to develop a centralised view of card product, benefits and content GTM and delivery approaches
  • Engage with teams for monthly and quarterly reporting/operational cadences
  • Flexibility to collaborate with other regions at times that may be during their core business hours
  • Work closely with global loyalty and benefits product leadership to enable them to develop the Global Product Strategy
  • Structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a range of card product, benefits and content strategy issues.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.


Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.


Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 183,100.00 to 238,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
