About the Role
The Senior Director, Digital Marketing Operations leads a digital marketing team within the marketing COE to develop scalable processes and programs that drive digital marketing results. They educate and empower integrated marketing campaigns, lead martech management and deliver actionable insights that drive better business outcomes.
This individual will have demonstrated expertise managing marketing automation programs including Salesforce and Eloqua (or similar email marketing platform) to deliver a lead workflow program for end-to-end ROI reporting. They will have experience delivering programs using segmentation and audience profiling, demand generation capabilities, and marketing attribution modelling.
This is a highly cross functional role requiring both strategic and tactical execution, strong program management, and ability to lead a team. This leader will work closely with marketing, sales, and technical stakeholders to develop processes for a high growth marketing organization and should have exceptional problem-solving skills.
This role resides in Jersey City and reports to the AVP, Digital Marketing. The role works in the office 2 days/week.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a marketing technology stack that meets the needs of the business, is effective in engaging customers, provides scale to our customer communications, and drives efficiencies to hyper-scale pipeline and revenue growth
  • Lead data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, including technology ownership and marketing process governance for data stewardship
  • Manage, build, and optimize our lead workflow programs
  • Lead the effort to develop a performance-based digital marketing organization, focused on improving and building scalable processes and programs to align marketing and sales efforts
  • This includes lead scoring and routing, campaign creation, and inbound marketing channels, and help ensure a smooth handoff of leads to sales by improving our lead execution, funnel alignment, and sales SLA with sales ops
  • Improve marketing campaign efficiency
  • Create templatized marketing dashboards and reporting for campaign effectiveness in partnership with analytics lead – reports include campaign execution and tracking, budget to pipeline and revenue, marketing automation systems, database health and market segmentation
  • Lead email marketing, Eloqua data maintenance, segmentation, and data/list imports
  • Establish deep Eloqua and Salesforce integration to maximize functionality and sharing of data among marketing, sales, and customer service-related systems
  • Provide leadership in defining, mapping, and documenting key marketing processes
  • Build marketing attribution and audience profile models in partnership with analytics lead
  • Share best practices and maintenance of lead generation campaigns, programs, drip and nurture programs for great campaign effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Ability to drive results, lead cross-functional teams, influence others and foster positive collaboration
  • Data-driven marketer proficient in A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and email optimization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with system administration of marketing functions in Salesforce.com – comfortable with technical conversations with sales ops around Salesforce workflows, objects, and triggers
  • 10+ years’ experience in a Marketing Operations/Automation role or similar position
  • Deep expertise and experience in B2B marketing
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools including Workfront, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Strong prioritization, planning, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation; especially when working with teammates who may be technical or non-technical
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Marketing, Business, or Communication) or equivalent experience; MBA a plus
  • Advanced user of marketing automation systems like Eloqua; Eloqua certification a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data sets into concrete business recommendations for marketing and sales, with the goal to optimize revenue-generating investments
