Overview


As a vibrant and growing off price retailer, Burlington invests significantly in Media and Marketing. We are seeking to add a Digital Marketing Analyst to our team, with expertise in tagging & analytics .


This role will lead the digital analytics capabilities which include working cross-team, developing reporting cadences, managing KPI’s, setting up and analyzing media spend, creating tags and other reporting and analytics projects to help drive better performance. Reporting to the Digital Marketing, Senior Manager the Digital Marketing Analyst will be responsible for both long-term and day-to-day improvement of Burlington’s performance in the paid media channels. The role will work cross-functionally with others internally across CRM, Social, Finance, Marketing and other relevant departments.


This important role will help drive positive company results by implementing and measuring the effectiveness of the paid media campaigns and making sure the company KPI’s are met by reporting on the relevant data points.


Key Responsibilities


  • Working closely with other Media team members to make sure data points and structures are aligned and captured appropriately within the reporting cadences. Analyzing the data freshness and duplication to make sure the data can be actionable to help measure
  • Setting up tagging structure and campaign management
  • Leadership and foresight to lead the reporting dashboards creation and analyze our attribution methodologies. Ability to create the campaign tagging structure to capture the data points required to report back performance. Maintain and advance our reporting cadences and dashboard to include all relevant data.
  • Reporting on KPI’s and historical performance
  • Managing the digital changes with vendors/partners
  • Expertise in analyzing the data and creating customer journey maps
  • Optimization and improvement of performance
  • Responsible for all aspects of the digital analytics environment and making sure it hits the company objectives which include but not limited to:
  • Understanding of advanced MTA solutions
  • Experience in implementation and review of the data points included within the dashboard and verification of accurate information. Updating and activation of third-party data sources within the dashboard as well as analyzation to improve upon performance insights.


Our Ideal Candidate Will Have


  • Self-motivated, collaborative, with the desire to learn
  • Experience in developing and enhancing customer journey maps
  • Understanding and prior history of tagging such as with Google Campaign Manager or similar
  • Understanding of digital channels and their attribution in digital advertising
  • 3+ years of experience in digital analytics roles within a marketing firm or department
  • Prior retail knowledge is preferred or agency experience
  • Knowledge of Multi-Touch Attribution solutions (MTA) is preferred
  • Expertise in creating reporting dashboard with Data Studio, Tableau or similar solution
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Ability to analyze data points and create tagging structures on how to report the data
  • Creation of dashboards with relevant statistics to report back to the team
  • Cross-team collaboration with other company teams
