Job Description

Position: Senior Development Officer – Fundraising, Giving and Philanthropy

Location: Colorado

Client is seeking an experienced development professional to oversee and manage all aspects of major giving and planned giving to secure large gifts and grow the number of gifts made through bequests, trusts charitable annuities and other planned giving vehicles.

The Senior Development Officer partners with and solicits donors to realize their philanthropic ambitions while advancing the objectives of the company Foundation and strategic priorities of company.

Ideal candidate has excellent track record of working with philanthropically minded donors looking for a mission to get behind. Is comfortable managing large donor portfolios and has superb networking skills. Understands the role and importance of major gifts and planned giving in a comprehensive fundraising program.


Requirements

BS or BA in related field

At least 5 years’ experience as a professional fundraiser
