Title: Senior Designer
Client: Energy Company
Location: Houston, Texas (hybrid in-office 2 times week)
Pay: $55-65/hour
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to join our internal marketing team. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will create and design visual content for internal communication initiatives, corporate campaigns, and branding activities. You will also be tasked with developing and implementing design solutions to promote the company's messaging and objectives.
To be successful as a senior graphic designer, you should have extensive knowledge of graphic design, styles, and techniques. You should also have experience in implementing marketing campaigns. Ultimately, an excellent senior graphic designer will ensure that the design team promotes the vision of the company through high-quality visual content.
Duties:

• Managing graphic designs from conception to delivery
• Develop fresh branding and visual design concepts that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and liaise between the marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure consistency in branding across all company communication channels.
• Design graphics, infographics, illustrations, and layouts for presentations, digital and print materials, and internal communications
• Stay up to date with emerging design trends, software, and technology to improve design processes and elevate the company's visual identity.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and create visual content that communicates the company's message effectively and creatively.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create and organize new assets for projects.
• Knowledgeable in video production, video animation, motion graphics and photography experience.
• Versed in email marketing design and email strategy experience is a big plus!
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in an internal marketing team or agency setting.
• Solid understanding of graphic design, typography, and composition principles.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience designing for both print and web.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
